Soggy Surface Sinks Schedule
Game called on account of "soggy?" The sun finally broke through Saturday and Sunday. Perfect weather for baseball...right? Except the souvenir of the showers was still very evident on the surface of PNC Field. It was so saturated that Saturday's Sranton-Wilkes-Barre Yankees game was called. Ditto the double-header scheduled for yesterday. They'll try to get it in today....but the field may not be ready again. The rain apparently overpowered the drainage system, making it too dangerous to play
