There's no place like home. Especially if you're the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. That's because there's no place with drainage problems so large that home games have to be postponed...even when the weather is nice. The local Triple-A club can't trust the surface of PNC Field, so it will be the home team when it takes the field against the Iron Pigs tonight...at the Pig's park in Allentown. Same situation when the Baby Bombers play Buffalo at a stadium in Syracuse this weekend. The PNC problem stems from the fact that real grass was laid over the drains that were installed to handle the original artificial turf.
