A state trooper out of the Swiftwater barracks has been suspended without pay after he allegedly attacked a driver during a traffic stop in Monroe County in 2008. Mark Shutkufski allegedly punched Brian McCasland in the chest, forcibly took his cell phone from him as he tried to call 911, and aimed a taser at him. The event was video-taped by a camera in the trooper's car.
