Rushing Opts Out Of Plea Deal

When it came down to a "deal or no deal" situation, an accused triple-killer opted for the latter. Randal Rushing could've been guaranteed he wouldn't face execution if he took the plea deal. But at the last minute he ducked out of it. So the Scranton man will role the dice at trial. He's accused of killing three people. Justin Berrios, Dustin Hintz and Leslie Collier were killed in a South Scranton home Rushing shared with an ex-girlfriend and her family. He faces first, second and third degree murder charges, and prosecutors will seek the death penalty.
